How much water does
your pet need?

Hydration matters more than most owners realise. Enter your pet's weight and we'll calculate the daily range using standard veterinary guidelines.

Signs of dehydration.

Catch these early — dehydration can turn serious in under 24 hours for small pets.

  • Skin tent test: pinch skin at the shoulders — should snap back in 1 second
  • Dry gums or sticky saliva
  • Sunken eyes, lethargy, panting excessively
  • Not peeing for more than 12 hours
Call your vet if you see any of the above, especially with vomiting, diarrhoea, or hot weather.

Dry-food-only pets typically drink more water than wet-food pets. A sudden change in drinking habits — way up or way down — is worth a vet check.
